Ashanti Shequoiya Doug, better known as Ashanti was born on the 13th of October 1980 in Glen Cove New York United States. She is a popular singer, songwriter and actor of the United States. Ashanti became famous as an untrained teenager, and later joined Murder Inc. Records in 2002. The same year, she was featured with The Fat Joe's What's Luv? Both Fat Joe's What's Luv? On the 16th October Hey Baby (After the Club) was released on radio stations as well as digital channels. The actress starred in the movie Christmas in the City and appeared as Latasha Montclair on Army Wives. The track Rock wit U was sampled by British artist Aitch for his song Baby on March 10 2022.
